OSCE saw no military hardware, weaponry crossing from Russia to Ukraine – mission head

On of themost amateurish American attempts to raise worldwide support for military intervention in Ukraine was an allegation that US spy satellites had photographed Russian military convoys heading across the border into territory held by pro Russsia Ukrainian separatist rebels.

When challenged to provide proof the US government showed us some pictures so fuzzy and indistinct they could have featured a convoy of good vehicles engaged in legitimate business in any pert of the world that has a temperate climate.

Ah but this blog is a pro - Russian, anti American conspiracy theory blog, our critics will say. They're entitled to their opinion of course (even though they would deny the right of free speech to others) but as always our sources are reliable:

‘No military hardware, weaponry or people bearing arms have crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border during nearly a year of observations, said Paul Picard, the chief of the OSCE monitoring mission deployed at border crossing points in Donetsk and Gukovo.


“We have not seen any military equipment crossing the Donetsk or Gukovo checkpoints,” Picard said at a press conference in Russia’s southern city of Rostov-on-Don. The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe observers have also “never seen people crossing the border with weapons. The border guard and customs strictly watch over this,” he added.’

American hawks are calling upon the US government to “flood” Ukraine with weapons because they are more concerned about their own wallets than about European security, US journalist Lee Fang points out.

Although the United States Institute of Peace and its chairman Stephen Hadley profess that they promote international peace through nonviolent conflict resolution, it is not what they are actually doing, US journalist and writer Lee Fang underscores.

“Stephen Hadley is a relentless hawk whose advocacy for greater military intervention often dovetails closely with the interests of Raytheon, a major defense contractor that pays him handsomely as a member of its board of directors,” the journalist revealed.”
